Why Vegas, not a tour?
Residencies are a smart move for side projects. Bruno Mars was already touring his own catalog. Anderson .Paak had his own career. A Silk Sonic tour would mean both stepping back from everything for 6+ months. A four-month Vegas run let them work together without the logistics of touring. They came to Vegas, played 34 nights in one place, and went home. Simple.
What the show was like
A time machine to 70s soul revues. Two sharp men in velvet suits, a six-piece live band with full horns, and classic soul choreography. The setlist pulled from An Evening with Silk Sonic (Nov 2021 album): Blast Off, 777, Skate, Fly As Me, Smoking Out the Window, Leave the Door Open, and more. The vibe was intimate despite the venue's size—felt like watching two friends perform, not a stadium spectacle.

Why they didn't tour after Vegas
After Aug 19, 2022, no tour was announced. The Grammy wins came in early 2022 (4 awards for "Leave the Door Open" alone). Both men could have capitalized on that momentum for a world tour. They didn't. Instead, both stepped back to their solo careers. Bruno focused on his Romantic Tour prep; Anderson .Paak returned to his own projects. Silk Sonic went quiet.
Could Vegas happen again?
Not that we've heard. A second Vegas run or tour would have been announced by now (2024–2026). The only comeback—via the Romantic Tour—is happening on the road with Anderson .Paak as an opener and mid-set guest, not as a separate Silk Sonic event.
